A fruity refreshment for hot summer days – the pineapple buttermilk smoothie by Spoonsparrow is a palate delight and quick to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe pineapple
  • 6 stems mint
  • 500 ml cold buttermilk
  • 30 g agave syrup (2 tbsp)

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Peel the pineapple, cut off leaves and stem base. Quarter the pineapple, remove core and chop flesh into small pieces.

  2. 2.

    Wash and dry the mint. Pick leaves from 2 stems and blend with pineapple, buttermilk and agave syrup until smooth.

    Pour the smoothie into 6 glasses and garnish with remaining mint before serving immediately.
