Fresh ginger slices preserved in a sweet syrup, a simple yet flavorful side dish.

Ingredients

  • 250 g ginger
  • 100 g sugar
  • 150 ml water

Instructions

    Peel the ginger and slice it as thinly as possible, then cut into fine strips.

    Boil the sugar with the water until it dissolves. Add the ginger strips and simmer for about 2 minutes, letting them bubble gently.

    Transfer the ginger strips along with the syrup to a jar, seal tightly, and allow to cool completely before refrigerating.
