Pickled Chives and Green Onions

Ingredients

  • 10 spring onions
  • 1 untreated lemon
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.5 bunch Chives

Instructions

    Clean the onions, wash, dry, shake off excess moisture, remove the greens, and slice the white parts.

    Halve the lemon, squeeze out the juice, and mix with the oil. Place the onions in the mixture and let them marinate for 2-3 hours.

    Wash the chives, dry, shake, and finely chop. Remove the onions from the brine, drain well, and serve mixed with the chopped chives.
