- 400 g penne
- 500 g tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 4 EL Olive oil
- basil (fresh)
- Oregano (fresh)
- 1 TL sugar
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- 4 EL Parmesan

Peel and finely chop the onion. Briefly blanch the tomatoes, cool them, peel, quarter, seed, and cut into small pieces. Heat oil in a pot, sauté the onion. Add tomatoes and simmer for about 8 minutes while stirring.

Set aside and season with sugar, salt, and pepper. Remove herb leaves. Cook Penne according to package instructions, serve with tomato sauce, garnish with herbs, and sprinkle Parmesan.
