Ingredients
- 250 g soup noodles
- 3 tbsp oil
- 150 g sugar
- 250 g quark
- 3 eggs
- Salt
- 4 tbsp chopped pecans
- 1 orange
- a pinch pepper
Instructions
-
1.
Cook the noodles according to package instructions in salted water until al dente. Peel the orange with a sharp knife, removing the white pith. Cut fruit segments from the separating membranes and catch the released juice. Squeeze the remaining orange pulp for extra juice. In a pan combine the juice with half the sugar and 2 tbsp oil, letting it lightly caramelize; stir in the orange segments and mix into the drained noodles. Beat the eggs with the remaining sugar until frothy, fold in quark and a touch of pepper, then fold in pecans and combine with the noodles.
