Ingredients
- 500 g ripe blue plums
- 500 g ripe pears
- 2 Cinnamon sticks
- 1 vanilla pod (split)
- 650 ml vodka
- 1 untreated lemon (zest)
- 250 ml dry white wine
- 700 g sugar

Wash the plums, halve and pit them. Wash the pears, quarter them, remove the core and slice thinly. Combine with spices, plums, vodka, lemon zest, and white wine in a large vessel.

Bring the sugar with 550 ml water to a boil, simmer until dissolved and clear. Pour the syrup into the vessel, stir well, cover and let steep in a cool dark place for 2 weeks. Strain the liquid, store again 2 weeks in cool dark conditions, then filter into a nice bottle and enjoy.
