Ingredients

  • 4 peaches
  • 80 g soft butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 200 g puff pastry

Instructions

    Wash the peaches, halve them, pit them, and cut into wedges. Line a thick tart pan with 60 g butter. Sprinkle a thick layer of sugar (about 80 g) over the butter and arrange the peach wedges skin side down next to each other.

    Heat the baking pans on medium heat until about 10 minutes, then remove from the stove when the sugar starts to caramelize. Let cool briefly, then sprinkle the remaining sugar and distribute the rest of the butter in small flakes on top.

    Preheat the oven to 200°C with both fan and conventional heating.

    Roll out the pastry and cut it slightly larger than the tart pan, then press it onto the peaches and push the edges down into the pans. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, remove, let cool a bit, carefully lift the tart, and serve warm or cooled.
