Ingredients

  • 150 g chocolate cookies
  • 600 g dark chocolate
  • 150 g coconut oil
  • 200 ml whipping cream
  • 150 g coarsely chopped pistachios
  • 80 g pistachios
  • 200 ml whipping cream
  • liquid honey (as needed)

    Grind the cookies finely in a mixer.

    Coarsely chop the chocolate and melt it with the coconut oil and whipping cream over a hot, non-boiling water bath while stirring. Remove from heat, fold in the cookies and let cool slightly. Line a loaf pan with plastic wrap, pour 2/3 of the chocolate mixture into the pan, spread evenly, and cover with half the pistachios. Then add the remaining chocolate on top, sprinkle with the rest of the pistachios, and chill in the refrigerator until set.

    For the sauce, crush the pistachios in a mortar and bring to a boil with whipping cream. Sweeten with honey as desired and let cool slightly. Remove the cake from the pan, slice it, and serve on plates with the sauce poured over.
