Ingredients

  • 500 g penne pasta
  • Salt
  • 4 oz Chevre goat cheese (about 60 g, or another goat soft cheese)
  • 125 g black currants
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp poppy seeds

Instructions

    Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente. Dice the goat cheese into small cubes. Rinse the currants and drain them.

    Melt the butter in a pan and toss the drained pasta in it. Season lightly, spread onto deep plates, then sprinkle with cheese, poppy seeds, and currants. Drizzle 1-2 tbsp pear-blackcurrant chutney over the top and serve with game sausage if desired.
