Ingredients
- 1 Carrot
- 1 stalk Celery
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 tbsp chopped basil
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 250 g mixed ground meat
- 1 small can peeled tomatoes
- 3 tbsp tomato paste
- 500 g pappardelle
- Salt
- freshly ground pepper

Peel and finely dice the carrot and celery. Peel the onion, finely chop the basil, set aside a few leaves for garnish. Heat oil, sauté onions and pressed garlic, add vegetables and cook briefly. Add ground meat, stir over high heat until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper, stir in tomato paste and peeled tomatoes, simmer about 30 minutes, fold in basil.

Cook pasta according to package instructions, drain, toss with sauce, serve on plates.
