Ingredients

  • 400 g penne
  • Salad salt
  • 250 g thick-cut bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 1 chicory
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • pepper (ground)
  • 50 g grated Parmesan

Instructions

    Cook the penne in plenty of salted water until al dente. Slice the bacon into strips. Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash, trim and slice the chili into very thin rings.

    Wash and dry the chicory, then cut it into strips. Sauté the onions in oil, add the bacon and cook together. Add the chilies, season with salt and pepper. Add the chicory and sauté briefly.

    Drain the pasta, let it drain for a moment, then mix with the bacon mixture. Serve on pre-warmed plates and sprinkle with parmesan.
