Ingredients

  • 2 beef sirloin steaks (180-200 g each)
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • oil
  • 1 red onion (sliced thick)
  • 400 g Swiss chard
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 400 g small boiled potatoes
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. 1.

Season the steaks with salt and pepper, brush with oil, and grill each side for 2-4 minutes on a hot grill (to your preference: medium or well-done).

  2. 2.

Place onions on the edge of the grill over greased foil, season with salt and pepper, drizzle with a little oil, and cook for about 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Halve the potatoes and sauté in 1 tbsp oil until slowly crisp brown; season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3.

Remove white stems from Swiss chard, chop finely. Peel garlic cloves. Sauté chard in 2 tbsp oil over medium heat, stirring until wilted; squeeze in garlic, add lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  4. 4.

Plate the steaks alongside the sautéed vegetables.
