Ingredients

  • 300 g green asparagus (the lower third peeled, ends trimmed and cut into large pieces)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp parsley
  • Salt
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 200 g spaghetti

Instructions

    Cook asparagus in boiling salted water for about 8 minutes, then drain.

    Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.

    Heat oil in a large pan, quickly sauté the asparagus, season with salt, pepper and lemon juice, then stir in the spaghetti, warm through, and serve on plates.
