Ingredients
- 400 g penne
- Salt
- 1 small red shallot
- 30 g Walnuts
- 4 figs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml dry white wine
- 120 g Gorgonzola
- 200 g heavy cream
- pepper (ground)
- 50 g grated Parmesan

Cook pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

Peel and finely dice the shallot; chop walnuts. Quarter figs. Sauté shallot and walnuts in oil in a large pan. Add white wine and cream. Dice Gorgonzola and stir into cream until melted. Season with salt and pepper. Drain pasta, let it drain, then toss with fig quarters in the cheese sauce.

Serve on warmed plates, freshly grind pepper over, and garnish with grated Parmesan.
