Ingredients

  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 400 g diced tomatoes (canned)
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • sugar
  • butter (for the ramekins)
  • 350 g Penne
  • 400 g broccoli florets
  • 200 g grainy cream cheese

Instructions

    Peel and finely chop the garlic; slice the shallot into strips. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté both until translucent. Add the tomatoes and simmer for 5-10 minutes, seasoning with salt, pepper, and sugar.

    Preheat the oven to 200°C (Oven + fan). Butter four ramekins or a baking dish. Cook the penne in salted water al dente, then drain. Blanch the broccoli in salted water for about 5 minutes until bright green and slightly firm.

    Combine the pasta with the sauce and pour into the ramekins. Top with the drained broccoli and spread the cream cheese over it. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper, then bake for 5-10 minutes until golden.
