Ingredients
- 1 Carrot
- 100 g Celery Root
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g mixed ground meat
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 100 ml red wine
- 250 ml rich beef broth
- Salt
- pinch sugar
- Pepper
- 400 g diced tomatoes (canned)
- 400 g spaghetti

Peel and finely dice the carrot, celery root, onion, and garlic. Brown the ground meat in hot oil while stirring until crumbly. Add the prepared vegetables and cook for 2-3 minutes more. Stir in tomato paste, deglaze with wine, then pour in beef broth. Season with salt, sugar, and pepper, and fold in diced tomatoes. Simmer covered for about 40 minutes, stirring occasionally; add more broth if needed.

Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain well and plate. Ladle the sauce over the noodles and serve.
