- 500 g waxy potatoes
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 yellow apple (e.g., Golden Delicious)
- 1 bunch fresh thyme
- 2 small fresh liver sausages
- Salt
- freshly ground pepper
- vegetable oil

Peel the potatoes and slice them thin or grate them. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the potato slices over medium heat. Halve the bell peppers, remove seeds, wash, and cut the flesh into fine strips. Wash the apple, quarter it, remove seeds, slice, and halve the slices.

Add the bell pepper, apple, and onion to the potatoes and cook for another 6-8 minutes while stirring. Cut the liver sausage in half and press the interior into the pan. Mix the liver sausage well and fry for an additional 1-2 minutes. Season the pan with salt and pepper generously and garnish with thyme leaves.
