Ingredients

  • 200 g Flour
  • 80 g Butter
  • 1 egg
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • Paprika peppers (one red, one yellow, one green, cleaned, seeded, diced)
  • 2 shallots (finely chopped)
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 200 g Cabanossi (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mild curry powder
  • Salt
  • ground pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 200 g whipping cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 g Gruyère cheese (grated)

Instructions

    For the dough, quickly knead flour, egg, ½ tsp salt, milk and butter into a smooth dough, roll out between two sheets of plastic wrap, line a greased quiche pan with it and cover for about 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

    Sauté shallots in hot oil until translucent, add paprika cubes and pressed garlic, cook for a few minutes, season with curry, salt and pepper.

    Whisk cream with eggs, stir in cheese, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

    Spread the vegetables and sausage slices over the dough, pour the egg-cream-cheese mixture on top.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 45 minutes until golden yellow.
