- 500 g cream cheese
- 200 g quark
- 2 egg yolks
- 50 g grated Parmesan
- 2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 100 g breadcrumbs (or bread crumbs)
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- flour (for coating)
- 2 Eggs
- vegetable oil (for frying)

Mix the cream cheese with well-drained quark, egg yolks, parmesan and parsley. If the mixture is still too soft, add a few breadcrumbs until it becomes firm. Season heavily with salt and pepper, form about 16 balls and chill for about 30 minutes. Coat each ball in flour, dip in beaten eggs, then coat with remaining breadcrumbs.

Fry briefly in hot oil until the coating turns golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve.
