- 500 g panettone
- 5 eggs
- 100 g sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 500 ml milk
- 500 ml whipping cream
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
- butter (for the dish)

Cut the panettone into strips and place them in a baking dish. Whisk together eggs, sugar, cornstarch, milk, cream, and vanilla extract, then pour over the bread. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Bake at 160 °C in a preheated oven for 70–90 minutes, covering with foil if needed to prevent darkening.
