Ingredients
- 1 untreated lemon
- 3 pears
- butter (for the pan)
- 200 g baguette (old‑baked)
- 2 Eggs
- 250 ml Whipping Cream
- 3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 30 g Butter

Preheat the oven to 180°C with top and bottom heat.

Wash the lemon hot and dry it. Zest it and squeeze juice from half of it.

Wash the pears, quarter them, remove the core, cut into thin slices and place in a greased baking dish. Mix with the lemon juice.

Drain the baguette, slice it and lay over the pears. Whisk eggs with cream, powdered sugar and lemon zest; pour over the bread. Sprinkle butter chunks on top and bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes.

Remove and serve immediately.
