Pan‑fried Salmon Slices

Ingredients

  • 1 kg salmon fillet
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 10 g ginger (1 piece)
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp liquid honey
  • 4 organic limes

Instructions

    Rinse the salmon fillet under cold water, pat dry and cut crosswise into 12 equal pieces.

    Brush a baking sheet with 1 tsp oil and place the salmon pieces on it. Wash, dry and finely chop the chili pepper. Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic.

    Mix the remaining oil with honey, chili, ginger and garlic and brush the salmon pieces with this mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 250 °C (220 °C fan; gas: highest setting) for about 7 minutes.

    Meanwhile wash the limes hot, dry rub them and cut into wedges. Serve the pan‑fried salmon slices with lime wedges.
