Pan‑fried potatoes from Spoonsparrow taste consistently delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 kg potatoes (mostly waxy or firm‑cooking)
  • 30 g fat (butter shortening, margarine or oil)
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)

Instructions

    Cook the potatoes in their skins the day before, peel them immediately and let them cool overnight.

  2. 2.

    Heat the fat in a large pan, add the potatoes, reduce heat and turn only when the bottom layer is lightly browned (about 8 minutes).

  3. 3.

    Keep the temperature from getting too high to avoid burning the potatoes.

    Finally season with salt and pepper.
