The Cherry Caprese by Spoonsparrow is a fruity variation of the Italian appetizer classic.

Ingredients
- 400 g black cherries
- 400 g mini mozzarella balls (45% fat in total)
- 2 stems basil
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Pepper
- Salt
- chili flakes
Instructions

Rinse the cherries, wash, halve and pit them. Drain the mozzarella and arrange it with the cherries on a plate.

Wash the basil, pat dry, remove leaves from stems and scatter over the cherries and mozzarella. Whisk olive oil with balsamic vinegar and drizzle over the salad.

Season the Cherry Caprese with pepper, salt and chili flakes.
