Ingredients

  • 4 pears
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 20 ml pear brandy
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 100 ml dry white wine

Instructions

    Peel the pears, halve them, remove the core but leave the stem attached. Melt the butter in a non‑stick pan and lightly caramelise with the sugar.

    Separate the halves and fry until golden brown. Sprinkle with cinnamon and deglaze with pear brandy, lemon juice, and wine. Remove from heat and serve hot or cold.
