Ingredients

  • 150 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g Flour
  • 0.5 packet Baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 75 g butter
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 50 g cream cheese
  • 4 tbsp Honey
  • 75 g powdered sugar

Instructions

    Line a muffin tin with 20 paper cups.

    Beat softened butter with sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy, then add eggs one at a time. Mix flour, baking powder, lemon zest, and salt; fold into the batter. Divide dough among cups and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25-30 minutes. Remove and let cupcakes cool briefly in the tin before lifting out to cool completely.

    For decoration, whisk room‑temperature butter with sugar until pale and fluffy. Stir in cream cheese and honey, then add powdered sugar gradually, mixing until smooth and pumpable. Fill a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe onto the cupcakes. Garnish with egg whites and serve chilled.
