Ingredients
- 400 ml oat drink (oat milk)
- 75 g hearty rolled oats
- 25 g fine rolled oats
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- 2 cardamom pods
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 0.25 tsp vanilla powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 orange
- 1 fig
- 2 tbsp white almond butter
- 1 tbsp crushed golden flaxseeds (10 g)
- 1 tbsp chopped pistachio nuts (15 g)
Instructions
-
1.
Heat the oat drink in a pot. Stir in oats, maple syrup, cardamom, cinnamon, vanilla and a pinch of salt; simmer for 2–3 minutes over medium heat. Then let it thicken on low heat for about 5 more minutes.

2.
While that cooks, peel the orange removing all white pith. Cut fruit fillets between the membranes, catching the juice. Wash the fig, pat dry and cut into eighths. Whisk almond butter with the orange juice.
-
3.
Fill bowls with the porridge and arrange orange fillets, fig wedges, flaxseeds and pistachios on top. Before serving drizzle the almond‑orange mixture over the porridge.
