Ingredients

  • 5 organic oranges
  • 20 g ginger root
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 2 cardamom pods (pressed)
  • 1 bag ginger tea
  • 4 sprigs Rosemary
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 tbsp pomegranate seeds (15 g each)

Instructions

    Wash the orange, dry rub it, grate the peel from one half, slice the other half and set aside. Squeeze the remaining fruit.

    Peel the ginger and slice it. Add ginger, turmeric powder, orange zest, cinnamon and cardamom pods to a pot. Pour in 200 ml water, bring to a boil and add the tea bag. Steep the tea with spices for 15 minutes. Strain the tea, return the liquid to the pot, add orange juice and warm over low heat for 3–5 minutes.

    Wash and dry rosemary sprigs. Place orange slices together with one rosemary sprig and one cinnamon stick in glasses, pour the punch over them, add pomegranate seeds and serve warm.
