Ingredients

  • 1 kg bitter orange (pulp, including juice)
  • 1 kg gelatin sugar
  • 40 ml orange liqueur
  • Lemon

Instructions

    Peel oranges thoroughly with a sharp knife, finely dice the pulp, remove seeds and collect juice; mix with gelatin sugar and let sit covered overnight. (Optional: fillet along the segments.)

    Stir in lemon juice and orange liqueur, pour into a pot, bring to a boil and simmer for about 4 minutes until sparkling, then fill jars, seal tightly and allow to cool.
