Ingredients

  • 500 g garlic
  • 0.5 tbsp salt
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 4 chili peppers
  • 0.25 l white wine vinegar
  • 60 g sugar

Instructions

    Peel the garlic cloves. Bring 1 liter of water with the salt to a boil. Add the garlic cloves and simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove and let drain. Fill jars with the garlic, washed chilies, and bay leaves.

    Boil the vinegar with 0.125 l water and sugar. Pour the hot mixture over the garlic cloves, seal the jars tightly.
