Orange Almond Tartlets

Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 tsp orange zest
  • 60 ml Rapeseed oil
  • 250 g flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 30 g Ground Almonds
  • 80 g chopped almonds
  • 280 ml milk
  • fat (for the cups)
  • 12 candied orange slices

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 180°C with top and bottom heat.

    Whisk eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar, orange zest and oil until frothy. Mix flour with baking powder, ground almonds and chopped almonds. Alternately stir in milk into the egg-sugar mixture. Pour batter into greased muffin cups and bake for about 15 minutes. Place candied orange slices on top and bake for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
