Ingredients
- 500 g onions
- 500 g sour apples
- 5 stems thyme
- 1 stick cinnamon
- 200 ml white balsamic vinegar
- 500 g 2:1 gelatin sugar
Instructions

Quarter the onions and cut into strips. Peel, core, and dice the apples into 0.5 cm cubes. Remove thyme leaves. Combine onions, apples, thyme, cinnamon stick, white balsamic vinegar, and gelatin sugar in a pot and let stand for 30 minutes.

Bring to a boil over high heat while stirring, then continue cooking with stirring for 3-4 minutes. Remove the cinnamon stick and fill the jam up to the rim of four sterilized jars. Seal tightly and place upside down for 5 minutes.

Before serving, decorate as desired with a ribbon.
