Oatmeal Chocolate Cookies

Light dessert: oatmeal chocolate cookies are perfect for gifting, bringing along, and snacking.

Ingredients

  • 200 g soft butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 240 g sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 egg
  • 225 g rolled oats
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 120 g flour
  • 70 g chocolate chips

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with upper and lower heat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Beat the butter with vanilla sugar, sugar, and salt. Add the egg and mix well. Combine oats with baking powder, flour, and chocolate chips; add this mixture to the wet ingredients. Knead into a dough. Form small balls from the dough, flatten slightly, place them on the tray with some space between each. Bake for about 15 minutes until golden yellow. Cool the cookies on a wire rack and serve arranged on a plate.
