Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 EL lemon juice
  • 350 g flour
  • 150 g starch
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 200 g whipping cream
  • 2 small ripe bananas
  • 2 EL lemon juice
  • 100 g sugar
  • 250 g whipping cream
  • 100 g finely chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 EL lemon juice

Instructions

    Grease the pan and line with breadcrumbs. Cream butter with sugar, add eggs and lemon juice. Mix flour, starch and baking powder, fold in. Pour batter into pan and bake at 180°C for 50 minutes. Let rest 10 minutes in turned-off oven.

    Beat cream with sugar until stiff. Mash bananas with lemon juice, mix into cream. Cut cake in half twice, spread filling on the two lower layers, reassemble cake.

    Beat cream for decoration, take a third, brush remaining over cake, chill for 1 hour. Sprinkle chopped hazelnuts. Fill remaining cream in a piping bag, dot on cake. Slice banana, drizzle with lemon juice and place in cream dots.
