- 400 g chanterelles
- 1 handful flat-leaf parsley
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt
- Nutmeg (freshly grated)
- 4 slices whole-grain toast
- 4 slices Gruyère cheese

Wash the chanterelles briefly in lukewarm water if needed, then pat dry on a kitchen towel and clean. Wash the parsley, shake off excess moisture, and slice leaves into strips. Peel and chop the garlic.

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan (350°F).

Melt butter in a pan, add chanterelles and brown lightly with occasional stirring. If liquid is released, let it evaporate. Add garlic, cook until translucent. Season with salt and nutmeg. Fold in parsley.
