Mint Iced Tea

The perfect refreshment on warm summer days is delivered by the mint iced tea from Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 5 tsp white tea (optionally flavored)
  • 1 sprig peppermint
  • 4 organic lemons
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • 4 Tbsp lime juice
  • 200 ml fruit juice (chilled to preference)
  • 200 ml sparkling water (well chilled)
  • ice cubes (for glasses)
  • fresh peppermint

Instructions

    Wash the lemons and cut 3-4 nice slices from each, then squeeze out the remaining juice. Brew the tea with ½ liter boiling water, add the mint and let it steep for 2–3 minutes. Fill a pot with ice cubes, pour the tea over them through a sieve. Add the lemon juice together with the lime juice and top everything off with sparkling water and lemonade.

    To serve, place about 2 lemon slices and some ice cubes in tall glasses, pour the cold tea over them, and garnish abundantly with mint and lemon slices.
