Ginger Iced Tea

The ginger iced tea from Spoonsparrow refreshes wonderfully and also stimulates metabolism.

Ingredients

  • 50 g ginger
  • 2 untreated lemons
  • 2 tbsp black tea
  • fluid honey
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

    Peel the ginger and slice it thinly. Rinse the lemons hot, pat dry, slice them, and place both the lemon slices and ginger in a tall vessel.

    Pour 1 l of boiling water over the tea leaves, let steep for about 3 minutes, strain, and pour the liquid over the ginger and lemon slices.

    Let cool, strain again, and sweeten with honey to taste. Serve the ginger iced tea in glasses with ice cubes.
