Millet-Pear Muesli

Start smarter in the day with the millet-pear muesli with cinnamon and walnuts from Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 100 g Millet
  • 300 g Pears (2 Pears)
  • 40 g Walnuts
  • 300 g Semi-skimmed Milk (1.5% fat)
  • 2 tsp Liquid Honey
  • 1 pinch cinnamon

Instructions

    Place millet and double the amount of water in a pot, bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until it has softened.

    Meanwhile, wash pears, dry them, grate them, quarter them, remove the core and dice them finely.

    Roughly chop the walnuts with a large knife or in a food processor.

    Transfer the millet to a bowl and let it cool slightly, stirring occasionally.

    Mix the semi-skimmed milk, honey and cinnamon. Mix in the diced pears and millet. Sprinkle the muesli with walnuts and serve.
