Milk Rice with Oranges

Ingredients

  • 400 ml milk (1.5% fat)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 80 g rice pudding grains
  • 50 g sugar
  • 4 mint stems
  • 2 oranges
  • cinnamon powder

Instructions

    Bring milk with the cinnamon stick to a boil in a pot. Stir in the rice and sugar, cover and simmer over low heat for about 40 minutes until the rice is cooked. Remove from heat. Divide the rice into four bowls and let cool for about an hour.

    Meanwhile wash the mint and shake it dry. Filet the oranges and cut the fillets into pieces.

    Distribute the mint and orange fillets over the rice and dust with cinnamon powder. Garnish each bowl with a piece of cinnamon stick and mint.
