Ingredients

  • 0.5 pita bread
  • 200 g green marinated olives (marinated olives)
  • 800 g yogurt
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp thyme leaves
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 200 g yogurt
  • 150 g Sour cream
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt
  • a pinch sumac
  • 350 g chickpeas
  • 3 Garlic cloves
  • 2 lemons (juice)
  • Salt
  • 0.25 tsp cumin
  • 150 g tahini
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • paprika powder (sweet)

Instructions

    Soak chickpeas overnight, then drain and simmer in a pot covered with water for about 40 minutes.

    Slice mezze into strips and arrange on a platter with olives and the following dips.

    Peel garlic and grate finely with a little salt. Mix with yogurt and chopped thyme leaves. Season with salt and pepper.

    Finely chop chili pepper, mix with yogurt, sour cream, tomato paste, and lemon juice. Season with salt and sumac.

    Drain chickpeas into a colander and rinse under cold water. Puree with an immersion blender until smooth. Peel garlic cloves and grate finely with salt. Add to the chickpeas, mix with tahini, lemon juice, and cumin, then season with salt.
