Ingredients
- 1 honeydew melon
- 2 oranges
- 2 green bell peppers
- 75 g raisins
- 50 ml vinegar essence
- 400 g sugar
- Salt
- 0.5 tsp ground allspice

Halve the honeydew, remove seeds, scoop out flesh and dice finely. Peel oranges thoroughly and cut into small pieces. Wash, trim, halve bell peppers, remove seeds and white membranes, then dice finely.

Combine honeydew, orange, pepper with raisins, sugar, vinegar, 1/2 tsp salt and allspice in a pot, add 250 ml water and simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes. Transfer the chutney to hot sterilized jars, seal immediately, place lids on top and let cool for 20 minutes, then flip and allow to cool completely.
