Ingredients
- 1 chicken (pre-cooked, approx. 1.4 kg)
- 3 untreated lemons
- 2 garlic bulbs
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper (ground)
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 4 fresh bay leaves
- vegetable oil (for the pan)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) with upper/lower heat. Wash the chicken, pat dry, and cut into 8 pieces. Rinse lemons under hot water, grate the zest of one lemon, and halve all lemons.

Halve the garlic bulbs crosswise. Mix the lemon zest with paprika, pepper, salt, and oil; brush this mixture over the chicken pieces.

Place the seasoned chicken along with the lemon halves, garlic halves, and bay leaves in a greased baking dish and roast in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove the finished chicken pieces and serve immediately.
