Ingredients
- 1 old-fashioned roll
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 Shallot
- 1 tbsp butter
- 500 g mixed ground beef
- 1 egg
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 0.5 tsp sweet paprika
- 12 slices of breakfast bacon
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil

Soak the rolls in lukewarm water. Peel the garlic and shallot, finely dice them, and sauté together with hot butter in a pan until translucent. Transfer to a bowl and let cool slightly.

Combine the ground beef with the onion-garlic mixture, egg, and well-squeezed roll into a smooth dough. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

With damp hands form 12 meatballs about 6-8 cm long and tightly wrap each with bacon. Heat oil in a pan and brown the meatballs all around for about 10 minutes. Serve warm or cold at parties as desired.
