Meatball Pizza
The meatball pizza from Spoonsparrow brings Turkish flair to the home kitchen and is guaranteed to succeed!
Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- Salt
- 0.5 cube fresh yeast
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 onions
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 400 g ground lamb
- 4 tbsp canned pizza tomatoes
- 1 bunch flat-leaf parsley (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 2 tsp Paprika powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- 0.5 small cucumber
- Salt
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 250 g yogurt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Mix flour with 1 tsp salt. Crumble yeast and stir into 125 ml lukewarm water until smooth, then combine with the flour and olive oil and knead thoroughly; cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes. Knead dough again and shape into four long oval flatbreads. For the topping, peel and chop onions and garlic. Heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic briefly. Add ground lamb and brown quickly. Stir in pizza tomatoes, parsley, tomato paste, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Spread the meat mixture onto the flatbreads and bake in a preheated oven at 220°C for about 15 minutes.

For the sauce, peel the cucumber, cut it lengthwise, scrape out the seeds, and grate roughly. Mix in a little salt and let sit for about 15 minutes. Then drain the water, squeeze in the garlic, and stir with yogurt, lemon juice, and olive oil. Season the meatball pizza with pepper and salt.
