Ingredients

  • 800 g waxy potatoes
  • Salt
  • 2 red bell pepper halves
  • olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 250 ml lukewarm milk
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • Nutmeg (freshly grated)

Instructions

    Peel, wash, and boil the potatoes in salted water for about 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile, wash the peppers, halve them, remove seeds and white membranes, and dice into small cubes. Quickly sauté in a hot pan with 2 tbsp oil, then set aside to drain on kitchen paper.

    Drain the potatoes, let them steam dry, mash with a potato masher, and blend with butter and milk until smooth. Fold in the peppers and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
