Marzipan Piglets
Marzipan piglets from Spoonsparrow are delicious and healthy – try them yourself!
Ingredients
- 200 g peeled, finely ground almonds
- 110 g creamy honey
- Red beet powder
- Matcha tea powder
- 8 flaxseeds
- Rose water
- Bitter almond aroma
Instructions

Mix almonds and honey together into a smooth dough. If desired, add a splash of rose water and bitter almond oil.

Divide the marzipan dough into thirds. Color one third light pink with red beet powder, another green with matcha powder, and from the remaining third color half dark pink while leaving the rest white.

Shape four clover leaves from the green mixture and place them on parchment paper. Mold pig bodies from the light pink mixture.

Form feet, ears, noses, and ring tails from the dark pink dough and gently press onto the pig bodies.

Create eyes from the white dough and decorate with flaxseeds as pupils. Gently press onto the pigs.

Place the piglets onto the clover leaves.
