Marinated Okra

Ingredients

  • 700 g okra
  • 500 ml white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • 1 tsp allspice berries
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • 3 chili peppers

Instructions

    Wash, trim, and distribute the okra into three well-rinsed jars (about 500 ml each).

    Bring the vinegar with 300 ml water, salt, and spices to a boil in a pot and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes.

    Add the chili peppers to the jars, fill with the brine, seal tightly, and let cool. Store in a cool, dark place.
