Ingredients

  • 500 g Halloumi
  • 2 untreated lemons
  • 1 bundle arugula
  • 4 dried, pickled tomatoes (in oil)
  • 3 tbsp chili oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt

    Preheat the grill.

    Slice the cheese into about 1 cm thick slices and then cut each slice into strips roughly 4 cm wide. Rinse the lemons hot, pat dry, and halve them.

    Place the cheese with the lemon halves on the grill and grill both sides until golden brown.

    Wash, rinse, trim, and spin dry the arugula. Drain the dried tomatoes well, finely chop, and mix with oil and lemon juice. Season with salt and taste. Arrange the cheese on plates with a lemon half each, drizzle with vinaigrette, and sprinkle with arugula.
