Marinated Fruit Skewers

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp liquid honey
  • 1 untreated lemon (zest and juice)
  • 150 ml water
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 green apple
  • 150 g Strawberries
  • 150 g red grapes
  • 1 Nectarine
  • 200 g quark
  • 3 tbsp strawberry jam
  • 8 wooden skewers

Instructions

    Whisk honey, lemon juice and zest with the water. Peel the bananas and cut into pieces. Wash the apple, quarter it, remove seeds, and cut into bite-sized chunks. Halve the nectarine, remove the pit, and cut into pieces. Wash strawberries and grapes; halve the strawberries.

    Add the fruit to the marinate and let sit for 2 hours. Then skewer the fruits alternately, brush with remaining marinade, and refrigerate for 1 hour. Mix quark with strawberry jam and serve alongside.
