Ingredients
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 125 ml milk
- 250 g softened butter
- 250 g sugar
- 5 eggs
- 150 g flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 100 g chopped walnut kernels
- 1 tbsp finely grated orange zest
- 1 tbsp orange blossom water

Instructions

Whisk cocoa with 2-3 tbsp milk. Cream butter and sugar until light, then add eggs, flour, and baking powder gradually. Add more milk until a smooth, thick batter forms. Preheat oven to 180°C fan.

Butter and dust the pan with flour. Divide the batter in half. Stir cocoa and 50 g walnuts into one half. Mix orange zest, orange blossom water, and remaining walnuts into the other half.

Layer the batters alternately into the pan and smooth the top. Bake for about 1 hour (test with a skewer). Remove, let cool slightly in the pan, then carefully unmold onto a cooling rack to finish cooling. Slice and serve.
